July was a busy month for us. We took the show on the road and had a lot of fun. We played mostly outdoors at some lovely places where we made some new friends. We were expected to be on our best behavior – given the settings – and we did pretty well in that regard. But on the drive back from somewhere distant someone mentioned that he’s looking forward to playing loud, noisy bars again in August and September. So we can, maybe, blend a little.

Our new CD is coming along. We have ten songs completed. We really haven’t had a lot of time in the last few weeks to do any recording, so most of what we’ve been doing is re-mixing and EQ’ing existing mixes to get it ready for its final mastering. Eric Hester of Slothtrop Music has agreed to master the CD. He performed that same feat for our first one and we were thrilled with the results.
