The new year is… well… new… and different from last year. Last year was so 2007. And we’re just past that now. We are so grateful and so thankful to everyone who came out to see us last year and who stopped by the stage on their way to somewhere else to introduce themselves. We love talking to anyone who recognizes a song or a lyric or who comments on the set. It generally means someone is listening… and… how great is that??? We made lots of friends at our CD release party… We keep running into people who were there and who we overlooked amidst the clamor. Thanks to everyone for coming. It really topped off the year for us.
So, for 2008, what are we going to do? We’re not sure really how it will be significantly different from last year… we’re gonna play – I guess we’re sure about that. We’re gonna find new places that are nifty little nooks that will have us and where we’ll dig in and make ourselves at home. We’ll be heading back to the post office to send out Takin’ On The Rain to the several internet-based radio stations that are playing stuff from Dreams Are The Ponies We Ride. We’ve already started recording again – because that is just too much fun. We want to head into the great outdoors like we did last summer and try to play outside as much as we can. And we’re hoping you come out to see us and that you introduce yourselves or send us an email. We always respond to email. For that matter, we respond to chit-chat too. Even simple waving… we wave back… small hand gestures are ok… we do those too. Frankly, any type of acknowledgment you generate… we’ll follow your lead. Have a good year, will ya? We’ll try to do the same.
