Hey! We won Honorable Mention in the Great Lakes Song Contest (http://www.greatlakessongs.com/winners.htm). And there is nothing dishonorable about that. We were hoping for something more, of course. Like winning! (We need the money). But, you know… we did get a Mention – so we’re happy about that. For those of you who are unsure what this means: An Honorable Mention falls somewhere between an Honorable Shout-Out and an Honorable Received Submission. So… they liked the song; we like the song; it’s all good!

For the next couple of months we are concentrating our efforts on getting more recording done. So we’re not playing out as much as we were last year at this time. We’re a little behind on our CD production schedule too, To make up for it all we’ll be posting a couple of downloads in the next few months of new songs that are slated to make it to the new album.
